The CAS-ANID postdoc program is established under the general framework of the “Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Scientific Collaboration and the Development of Astronomical Research” signed between the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the National Agency of Research and Development (la Agencia
Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo, ANID) of Chile on December 17, 2021. This program is a continuation of previous CAS-CONICYT postdoc program, aimed at promoting collaborations between the astronomy communities of China and Chile. As the representative of CAS in Chile, CASSACA oversees and manages the CAS-ANID postdoc program in collaboration with the ANID.
